AIOU announces admissions twice in an academic year and it offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs including Matric, Intermediate, I.Com, ADE, ADC, BA, BS, B.Com, BBA, B.ed, MA, MSC, M.ed, MS, ADP, MBA, M.phil Phd etc. AIOU is an open university and there is no age limit for admission in any program if you can fulfil other eligibility criteria.

Admission Procedure for Fresh Students

AIOU admission is a simple and easy process, follow the following instructions to apply for admission in AIOU:

After selecting your program, click on open. Then enter your last degree details in the admission form and click on save & completion. Now enter your personal and educational information, upload your picture and educational documents in photographs and documents, Select all and submit application.

Assignment is a very important part in Allama Iqbal Open University for students of each degree and certificate programs, AIOU assignments have separate marks along with paper marks. Students in all programs have to pass their papers as well as assignments. Without passing your AIOU assignments, you can’t complete your AIOU degree.

AIOU accepts online assignments for bachelor and above programs while the assignments for Matric and Intermediate should be sent in hard copy. All students have to submit their assignments before the deadline.

Workshops is a necessary part of AIOU degree and it conducts in each semester. The AIOU workshop is important as exam papers. So, all AIOU students have to attend their workshops on time. AIOU publishes a workshop schedule on its official website.

AIOU also sends text messages and letters to students for workshops. When you submit admission application for the first time, make sure to enter your active mobile phone number in the application paper.

If you miss a workshop, you can attend it in your second or third semester. You have three chances to re-attend your missed workshop. If you can’t attend your workshop on your third chance, then you have to take admission again for the subject in which you fail in the workshop. So, you are advised to attend your workshops on time.

AIOU conducts examinations after 5 or 6 months of the admission confirmation. The examination for all programs are conducts in their regional centers.
