AIOU Assignment Schedule Spring 2024

At the start of each semester, students have limited academic activities. For most programs like B.Ed and MA/M.SC etc, AIOU provides two assignments, one is before the workshop and another one is after or during the workshop. In case of Matric, FA, BA and other equivalent programs, it provides four assignments in one semester.

Matric Programs
Assignment submission deadlines vary from program to program in AIOU. Matric assignment submission commenced in May. For Matric students, AIOU provides four assignments of 6 credit hours and two assignments of 3 credit hours.
AIOU assignment schedule for Matric: first assignment submission last date is 31 May 2024, 2nd assignment last date for submission is 24 June, 3rd assignment 22 July and 4th assignment submission last dates are 19 August 2024.
Similarly, for 3 credit hours courses, the last date of submission of 1st assignment is 24 June while 2nd assignment should be submitted before 19 August 2024.
All students are advised that don’t wait for the last dates, make sure to submit your assignments before the deadline. If you missed 1st or 2nd assignment submission on time, contact your course tutor, hope that he will allow you to submit the missed assignments with your final assignments.
FA Programs
Assignment schedule of Matric and FA are the same; both program’s study duration is from May to August 2024. Like Matric, FA also comprises four assignments for 6 credit hours and two assignments for 3 credit hours. There are also four courses with 6 credits while two courses with 3 credits.
FA assignment schedule: For six credit hours, AIOU assignment first assignment last date is 31 May 2024, 2nd assignment last date for submission is 24 June, 3rd assignment 22 July and 4th assignment submission last dates are 19 August 2024.
Similarly, for 3 credit hours courses, the last date of submission of 1st assignment is 24 June while the 2nd assignment submission last date is 19 August 2024.
Occasionally, the University extends assignment submission dates, but it’s advisable to ensure your assignments submission is made before the specific deadline.
BA / Associate Degree Programs
AIOU assignment schedule for associate, BA and certificates programs are June, July and August accordingly. For 6 credit hours courses, assignment submissions will close in July and August respectively.
Correspondingly, BA and other equivalent programs also comprise four assignments for 6 credits and 2 assignments for 3 credits.
B.Ed, BS, ADC, BBA & Post Graduate Programs
AIOU Assignment schedule of 1st and 2nd assignments for B.ED and AD programs are announces in May/June each year. Assignment will schedule for B.Ed, BS, ADC, BBA and equivalent programs will issue soon. Study duration for the above programs starts from 16 June to 15 October 2024.
In contrast to Matric, FA and BA programs, B.Ed, BS and other equivalent programs have only two assignments. Commonly, the 1st assignment is provided before the workshop and the 2nd one is after or during the workshop.
You are advised that don’t wait for the deadline, write your assignment on time and try to submit it before the deadline.
